A teaser video depicting a fierce divorce battle between Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok has been released.
'Yes, Let's Get Divorced' [Director: Joo Sung-woo | Writer: Hwang Ji-eon | Production: Canvas N] is a real divorce experience documentary of a married couple who are the representatives of a wedding dress shop, putting an end to their exhausted marriage.
In the teaser video that unveiled the veil, Lee Min-jung as Baek Mi-young and Kim Ji-seok as Ji-won-ho, who promised eternal love, are pleasantly depicted in endless arguments.
The video begins with the appearance of Baek Mi-young in a beautiful wedding dress, and the atmosphere instantly reverses with Ji-won-ho's comment that he thinks he understands now. The two people who were showing newlywed moments growl at each other at every moment and open the curtain on a divorce commotion.
The couple, who jointly operate the wedding dress shop G&White, boast perfect chemistry as business partners within the company, but are actually in a cold war in reality. Baek Mi-young tells Ji-won-ho not to nitpick about her work, and Ji-won-ho expresses his complaints saying that it's Baek Mi-young who is wrong. The hidden stories of the couple facing the present after happy times in the past stimulate curiosity.
At the end of the video, Baek Mi-young forcefully throws off the wedding ring on her finger, declaring a full-scale divorce war. Over the image of the couple glaring at each other sharply amidst loud thunder and lightning, Ji-won-ho's meaningful lines and Baek Mi-young's angry face decorate the ending.
The production team said that the acting synergy between Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok will depict a real and pleasant couple, delivering both laughter and empathy at the same time.
'Yes, Let's Get Divorced' will have its first broadcast on Wednesday, August 19 at 11 p.m.
