Netflix series 'Cursed with Love' has released character stills showcasing the distinctive personalities and charms of the lead actors.
'Cursed with Love' (directed by Kim Jang-han), which will be released on August 7th, is a romantic comedy depicting the exciting cohabitation of prosecutor Ko Eun-sae (played by Ha-young), who suffers from amnesia, and boxing coach Jang Tae-ha (played by Jung Hae-in), who claims to be her boyfriend.
Jung Hae-in takes on the role of Jang Tae-ha, who claims to be Ko Eun-sae's boyfriend and a suspicious boxing coach. In the released stills, Jang Tae-ha displays contrasting charms, showing both a bright smile at the gym and serious eyes in a black suit. Jung Hae-in said, "Jang Tae-ha is a pure-hearted man but has a clumsy and bumbling charm," and revealed that he made efforts to capture emotional changes in detail according to different situations.
Ha-young plays prosecutor Ko Eun-sae, who has lost her memory, showcasing diverse facets of her character. Ko Eun-sae was originally an elite prosecutor named Ko Ji-won who would stop at nothing for her work, but lost her memory in a mysterious accident while tracking violent organizations. Ha-young introduced her role saying, "Ko Eun-sae is a lovable character who returns to her true self after losing her memory and grows while receiving love from those around her."
Standing against her is Huh Sung-tae as Baek Sang-gil, the boss of the organization, adding weighty tension. Baek Sang-gil, who has been living under a false identity, begins pursuing prosecutor Ko Ji-won again after hearing news of her survival, whom he believed was dead. Huh Sung-tae said, "I maximized Baek Sang-gil's extreme villainy, which heightens tension with just his appearance, in a dry yet cruel manner."
Director Kim Jang-han gave unreserved praise to Jung Hae-in, who perfectly handles both romance and action, Ha-young, who interpreted the character lovably, and Huh Sung-tae, who completed a multidimensional antagonist. As anticipation grows for the synergy among these distinctive characters, 'Cursed with Love' will be released exclusively on Netflix on August 7th.
