A teaser video depicting a fierce divorce battle between Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok has been released.
'Yes, Let's Get Divorced' [Director: Joo Sung-woo | Writer: Hwang Ji-eon | Production: Canvas En] is a real divorce experience documentary of a couple who are the CEOs of a wedding dress shop, putting an end to their exhausted marriage.
In the unveiled teaser video, Lee Min-jung as Baek Mi-young and Kim Ji-seok as Ji-won-ho, who once promised eternal love, are delightfully shown in scenes of endless bickering.
The video begins with Baek Mi-young dressed in a beautiful wedding dress, but the atmosphere instantly reverses with Ji-won-ho's one-liner saying he now understands. The couple, who were showing newlywed moments, suddenly start growling at each other and kick off the divorce commotion.
The two, who jointly operate the wedding dress shop G&White, showcase great chemistry as business partners within the company, but in reality, they are in a cold war. Baek Mi-young tells Ji-won-ho not to nitpick her work, while Ji-won-ho expresses his frustration, saying it's Baek Mi-young who is at fault. The couple's hidden story, moving from a happy past to facing the present, stimulates curiosity.
Toward the end of the video, Baek Mi-young forcefully throws off her wedding ring from her hand, declaring the full-scale divorce war. Over the image of the couple glaring sharply at each other amidst loud thunder and lightning, Ji-won-ho's meaningful line and Baek Mi-young's angry face decorate the ending.
The production team conveyed that Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok's acting synergy will depict a real and pleasant married couple, delivering both laughter and empathy simultaneously.
'Yes, Let's Get Divorced' will air for the first time on Wednesday, August 19 at 11 p.m.
