Actor Kim Dae-myung engages in a cold-blooded chase on ice to catch Lee Seol, who attempts a life-or-death escape.
In the 6th episode of KBS 2TV's Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage' (directed by Kim Jung-hyun, Kim Min-tae / written by Jung Jae-ha / produced by Red Nine Pictures, KBS Media) airing today on the 19th, Ko Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol) breaks out of a locked room and makes a desperate escape across a frozen lake, while No Man-hee (played by Kim Dae-myung) pursues her.
The 5th episode, which aired on the 18th, recorded the highest per-minute viewership of 7.4% based on Nielsen Korea and a nationwide viewership of 5.4%, continuing its upward trend. In the previous broadcast, after the death of Lee Su-hyung (played by Park Byung-eun), who was an accomplice with Kang Tae-joo (played by Nam Goong-min), Ko Se-yoon attempted to escape by hurling an hourglass at No Man-hee, heightening the tension with a cliffhanger ending.
In the 6th episode, Ko Se-yoon runs across the ice with the single will to survive, while No Man-hee, bleeding profusely, pursues her with a cold expression. On set, Kim Dae-myung expressed the exploding madness and emotions of the criminal through a cruel smile as Ko Se-yoon attempts to escape, while Lee Seol vividly portrayed an indomitable will to survive, delivering the true essence of a thriller that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. All eyes are on whether Ko Se-yoon can escape from the psychopathic kidnapper and reunite with her husband Kang Tae-joo.
The production team stated, "This is an important scene where Ko Se-yoon, who has continuously sought ways to escape her captivity, and No Man-hee, the kidnapper with a cruel nature, directly confront each other. Kim Dae-myung and Lee Seol respectively portrayed the characters' emotional lines of murderous madness and extreme terror and anxiety with dense, intense acting."
They added, "The chase between the two actors, who spared no effort in pouring their passion into the scene, will be the strongest viewing point of the 6th episode."
