In the 6th episode of the Lifetime thriller drama "Empathy Cell" (written by Jung Yeon and Kim Sung-rae / directed by Kim Chil-bong / provided by A E Global Media / produced by Wemade, LG U , and MBC C&I) aired on the 19th, Yoo Ji-an (played by Kang Min-a) finds herself kept at a distance by Cha Eun-hwan (played by Kim Myung-soo), before she learns the truth related to past tragedy. The two resolved emotional conflicts through a heartfelt kiss, and Yoo Ji-an was dramatically cast in the film "White Night." However, when Cha Eun-hwan's older sister Cha Song-hwan (played by Cha Min-ji) vehemently opposed and declared she would leave home, Cha Eun-hwan pleaded for just three months. In the process, Yoo Ji-an discovers a family photo of the siblings and freezes, foreshadowing a harsh turn of fate.
To protect Yoo Ji-an, when she proposes a lifetime contract after completing her first shoot, Cha Eun-hwan draws a line, saying "How long will you keep depending on my emotions?" and confirms the contract period is three months. Even as Yoo Ji-an's abuse of power controversy resurfaces, Cha Eun-hwan discovers an independent film script in the exposé video, finding a clue to solve the case.
Additionally, through former manager Do Hoon (played by Kang Pil-jun), he begins to suspect Kim Joon-sik (played by Jung Hee-tae) as the person behind hiring the journalist.
Meanwhile, while analyzing the script, when Cha Eun-hwan says "It's not something that can be achieved anyway, so wouldn't being together feel like a punishment for each other?", Yoo Ji-an's eyes well up with tears.
